Mobile Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (mTMS) is an innovative, non-invasive neuromodulation technology designed to treat various neurological and psychiatric conditions. It is a portable version of standard TMS, allowing for greater flexibility in clinical and sometimes home-based settings.

tDCS Brain Stimulation
Think of tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) as a “brain primer.” While the mTMS we discussed earlier uses magnets to force neurons to fire, tDCS uses a very weak, constant electrical current to make it easier or harder for your neurons to fire on their own.
It’s one of the simplest and most portable forms of brain stimulation available today.
How Does It Work?
tDCS involves placing two small electrodes (pads) on the scalp, held in place by a headband. A small, battery-powered device sends a tiny current (usually 1 to 2 mA—less than what a standard LED bulb uses) between them.
The Anode (+): This acts like a “volume up” button. It increases neuronal excitability, making the brain cells in that area more active.
