Katherine Thompson, MD is a clinical geneticist who has cared for patients with genetic disorders for over 25 years including addiction, depression, anxiety and chronic pain. New treatments include ketamine and transcranial magnetic stimulation which yield significant improvements in care for many patients.
Dr. Thompson graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed post-doctorate training programs at the University of Chicago affiliate hospitals, Baylor College of Medicine, and MD Anderson Research Center. She is Board Certified in Clinical Genetics, Clinical Cytogenetics and Addiction Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Genetics and Genomics, American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Practitioners and Psychotherapists and the Society for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
In her spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her family, travel, skiing, and reading.
